James Drydale
Partner, Clinical negligence
James is a partner and head of our clinical negligence department. He is a member of the Law Society’s specialist Clinical Negligence Accreditation Panel and a Senior Litigator of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He specialises in cases involving medical accidents and works hard to obtain good results for his clients. As well as enjoying an excellent reputation in his field, James is personable and a good listener. James covers a full range of clinical negligence cases helping people who have suffered from medical mistakes, particularly cases of very severe injuries.
James read History at Durham University before studying Law at Northumbria University and Sheffield University. James qualified as a Solicitor in Sheffield in 2001 and has remained in the city ever since, joining Taylor Emmet as Head of Department in 2009.
Out of the office, James enjoys travelling, hill walking, mountain biking, football, korfball, music and books.
