Taylor&Emmet acted for the vendors of one of Sheffield’s main motor dealerships in successfully negotiating and finalising an innovative deal with a novel deal structure.


Sale of the entire issued share capital of a leading precision engineering company

Taylor&Emmet acted for the shareholders of one of Derbyshire’s leading precision engineering companies on their successful exit.


We acted for the vendors through a lengthy negotiation process which lasted more than eight months, with the deal being renegotiated and restructured on a number of occasions as a result of the changing requirements of the
purchaser’s funders.


Acquisition of the business and assets of a competitor business by a South Yorkshire based international manufacturer

Taylor&Emmet coordinated an in-depth due diligence exercise and complex negotiations relating to certain ongoing liabilities of the target business under tight time limitations, in order to bring the deal to a successful conclusion.


Sale of the entire issued share capital of a well known north east retailer

Taylor&Emmet acted for the shareholders of a well known retail company based in the north east of England in respect of the sale of the entire issued share capital of the company for approximately £1.5 million.

Commercial pressures meant that this deal was negotiated and concluded from start to finish in five days.
