Corinna is an associate solicitor in the clinical negligence department.
Corinna joined the clinical negligence team in 2012 and completed her training at Taylor&Emmet. She has assisted on a wide range of matters representing clients who have suffered serious injuries or fatalities as a result of medical and surgical negligence. Her current caseload involves a number of complex cases including serious injury and she acts on behalf of a number of elderly and disabled individuals who have suffered neglect in residential care homes.
Corinna studied Law at the University of Liverpool, Human Rights Law and Politics at the University of Manchester and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Sheffield.
Corinna has a very client focussed and personable approach to all of her cases. She understands that approaching a solicitor in relation to medical treatment is a daunting experience. Most people will already have had a very difficult time before contacting us.
Corinna considers her role is to help you obtain answers to the questions that you may have and to investigate thoroughly on your behalf. She encourages people to contact her in relation to any question or query you may have in relation to your case, at whatever stage. She is always very happy to talk through any concerns or questions you may have.
When she is not in the office, Corinna also acts as Trustee for local Peak District based charity, Challenge Cancer Through Adventure. She can usually be found with a pair of climbing shoes, muddy running shoes or a mountain bike, somewhere below a Peak District crag.
