Rob Moore is head of business legal services at Taylor&Emmet. Rob also heads up the highly successful corporate and commercial department.
Rob joined Taylor&Emmet in 1997, and has been practising law since 1991. Rob advises a wide range of clients, from sole traders to large institutions. Rob previously advised on commercial disputes, and continues to advise local Insolvency Practitioners.
As a former litigator, he brings a different dimension to corporate and commercial work and is able to provide specialist and detailed advice on transactional and commercial matters, which an “ordinary” commercial lawyer may not see. This edge allows his clients to appreciate a transaction and look beyond completion in order to make a truly informed commercial decision.
Rob also has a keen interest in Media Law, and currently forms part of Taylor&Emmets Music and Media Law team.
When not in office Rob can be found fell running in the Peak District or on his bike. Rob is the club secretary for the Dark Peak Fell Runners and is a former governor at King Egbert Secondary School and Dore Primary School. Rob He was also a council member of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.
