Simon is a Partner and Head of Employment at Taylor&Emmet. He is recognised in the Legal 500 for his expertise in the field of HR and Employment Law.
Simon joined the firm in April 2018, bringing with him a wealth of experience in HR and Employment Law. Qualifying in 2004 Simon’s experience is very comprehensive and has been acquired over many years of practising Employment Law and advising on HR related issues. Simon has worked with a very wide and diverse range of clients and is commercially focused. He has previously worked at large Top 100 commercial legal practices, including Walker Morris and Clarke Willmott.
Simon advises on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, including dismissals and terminations, contractual disputes, disciplinary and grievance matters, complex discrimination matters, whistle-blowing, redundancies, business restructuring and all aspects of transfers of undertakings. Simon has significant experience of successfully conducting Employment Tribunal proceedings on behalf of clients.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys music, football, reading, racquet sports and spending time with his family, including two small children who are totally in charge and who completely run rings around him!
